I'm considering purchasing a self administered timeline therapy program (audio and video tapes) by Tad James. Can anyone provide any pos. or neg. feedback on what I may or maynot expect to accomplish. I suffer from irrational fears that affect my everday life. Some of my research indicates that this program may be of help.....but I'm a bit skeptical. Any imput would be appreciated.
Thanks, SUNFLOWERKLG
TLT is an excelent way of dealing with irrational fears. With tapes, however, you won't get individual guidance. I would suggest contacting an experienced TLT practitioner in your area.

I have been unable to locate a TLT practitioner in my area, is there a search method that may be more successful than the traditional yellow pages ect..

If you have searched the yellow pages under TLT I'm not surpised you came up blank, look under hypnosis instead, most practitioners of TLT also practise hypnosis, and most advertise this rather than TLT, or even under the title in full, Time Line Therapy.....

I don't see a reference as to which TLT program specifically.
It would make a difference.
Contract a hypnotherapist in your area and ask if they are experienced in Time Line Therapy. Alternatively, contact either the American Board of Hypnotherapy by sending an email to aih@ix.netcom.com or the National Guild of Hypnotists at https://www.ngh.net/referral.htm and ask for a referral.

merlin...I was thinking of the Timeline therapy training collections for I believe 295.00. There are 2 hynotists in my area the chances of them doing this is slim ( i'm in a small town), but I will give it a try.
Merlin which programs would be appropriate if any?

The Ego is a funny thing. anything that convinces you that your are a skeptic, will assist you in proving you are right. TLT does work and is very powerful. but if you don't believe in it, then it's like taking a walk in the woods believing that you are going to get lost. You always end up proving youself right. :D

Hi I just joined the forum. Yes TLT is very powerful and the tape series is a good intro to the techniques but for the "big" stuff it is advisable to get a practiitioner to work with you. You can also find a location where Tad or one of his people present a TLT seminar. Good luck in your quest!

Yes TLT is very effective, being an NLP Practitioner i have done this on myself to clear up negative areas of my past. The only downside i found that it ws very emotional for me, as i associated myself with my timeline which was the wrong thing to do, since then i have done it again but made sure i kept myself compleatly dis-assocaited with it and it worked a treat.
Hope this helps

I enter this thread a little late, but I hope that I can be helpful. I purchased and listened to the two tape albums produced by Tad James. Both are excellent, both can help you achieve what you want. The answer to you question and the techniques are defined in the Mastering TLT album, with 9 cassette tapes.
For what its worth, I recommend both albums very highly.

paul, could you write the exact titles of the timeline products you used if possible as there seems a lot of different ones available.and if you have had any results with your search could you let me know, sunflowerklg.kind regards, martin.
The titles I believe Paul is referring to are:
