About six or seven years ago, on a whim, I checked out from my public libary an audio cassette on smoking. I can't remember the exact name of it or who it was by but I do remember that I listened to one side of it, the hypnosis side I suppose, and fell asleep with it on. I didn't smoke again for four years and had no desire to either. The thing that stands out the most about this audio was the sounds; almost like heartbeats, and the speaker or hypnostist's voice which was deep and haunting. I also remember him saying that my legs and so on felt like lumps of lead and that would echo. I recall it being a bit spooky but it worked and I am looking for a copy of it.
I've called the library and they have a couple but I don't live in that area. I suppose I could take a chance and order one like they have online but really don't have any money to waste if it is not the right one.
Does the audio I described sound familar to anyone on the forum or could anyone provide me with any help in locating a specific audio?
I appreciate any help. Thanks.
Oh! The author of the audios at the library are by David Illig. If anyone is familar with him that might also help. It also seems to the best of my memory that the audio was packaged in a plain white cassette/book. Stop smoking was the only part of the title I can recall. And I thought it rather old when I checked it out when I reviewed the dates. All this again, to the best of my memory.
Thanks again!
