New to Chicago and looking for esoteric groups

I am a new resadent to chicago, Il. area and I would like to know if there are any occult groups that anyone could put me in touch with such as groups that study the O.T.O or chaos magick or Kenneth Grant. If there are any groups like that please let me know. Thank you.

I'd suggest contacting the O.T.O. or writing to Grant through his publisher. You could also go on line and do a search for a chaos magic group in your area or perhaps TOPY.

There is also an occult bookstore with the clever name of Occult Book Store on Milwaukee. You could go in there and ask for contacts. I gave a workshop there several years ago, so if you go in, tell them that Don Kraig says, "Hello!"

My advice to you. NEVER join a group. You will lose your individuality and your power. You will lose even more of it if there is a charismatic leader.
You may visit, put of your guard, watch, listen and enjoy, but NEVER, EVER join!
Study on your own. For a social life, you are better off in a general social setting where you do not become a part of them.
