To All

I recently discovered that I have a deteriorated disc in my spine(neck), along with some bone spurs. I'm intriqued by how Time Line could be utilized directly or indirectly to work on this condition. (I did a prelimary search in the archives of this forum for this appliation of Time Line but couldn't find anything). Obviously sometime in my past, I'm guessing my unconscious has "chosen" to respond like this, and I'd like to solve it, and if Time Line is a resource for doing so, I'd like to use it. anyone know of anyone who used Time Line for this application or a similar one?

I think it would be a great idea to study some of the research that helped build NLP in the first place. Moshe Feldenkrais for example. This was a therapist who had some problems with his knees and developed a whole method to go into these kinds of problems. Richard remembers vividly how he saw Moshe help a patient who had some kind of neurological problem where the patient's knees where locking on to one another and literally breaking into the skin. Moshe helped the patient, you should read his books, they're definitely targeted to that same kind of problem I think. :)

It's been done with hypnosis.
I don't know of any TLT successes.

Hello,

>can you be more specific using hypnosis to treat this?

Same methodology as for any other dis-ease

>is there a case history you know about? is there a book? a website? somebody?

Personal communication with Steve Parkhill, though I think he's referred to it in some of his trainings.

Merlin,

I know of Steven Parkhill, primarily that he's the author of "Answer Cancer" though reviews of his book and trainings indicate he talks primarily about the potential of hypnosis for curing disease rather than the "how to's" of it. is it your understanding that his training actually goes into the "how to's of curing cancer, spinal conditions etc?

if its easier, just reply to jimr_77024@yahoo.com

I just remembered. E.L. Rossi is one the best authors to study for researching this topic. Rossi is one of the oldest hypnotherapists still alive that took part in the great hypnosis renaissance of this century.

This author has studied with Milton Erickson and even written some books about him. His current interest, actually for some time, has been the subject of healing through hypnosis. Currently, you can find him gathering as much information about current scientific breakthroughs and these help him in the design of theories that will show applications in healing. For example, a concept suc as the hypnotic activation of certain body processes to aid in the regenration of cells would not be an alien idea to him. This is his field. Now he has been doing this for quite some time and has written several books on the subject. As far as his successes go, I don't know as I have only read brief articles about him. But, I do know that he sufferred a very serious medical condition some years ago and had face paralysis as a result. Well, he was able to cure himself of this face paralysis through hypnosis.

Sure.

"Psychobiology of Mind Body Healing"

"Mind-Body Therapy: Methods of Ideodynamic Healing in Hypnosis"

"The Psychobiology of Gene Expression"
As well as another one for which he is the editor, that book is:

"Psychological Perspectives; a journal of global consciousness integrating psyche, soul and nature (A semiannual journal of jungian thought) (Various Issues)".

Well, you said E.L. Rossi is one of your favorite authors so I was wondering what one of his coolest books is to start reading it.

hi, i did some hypnotherapy sessions with my client, including past life regression therapy, and she's had backpain down her spine for many years...so a while ago she told me that she noticed the backpain was gone, even after going on a flight and sitting for long hours. it wasn't intended, it was a side effect that occured after her many hypnotherapy sessions. but every case is different, i think it also depends on the cause of your condition.

Check into the work of Dr. Deepak Chopra. I think the problem lies in that the old cells that are damaged pass on this same information to the new cells so they in turn have the same "old" information. With the subconscious mind, this information can be changed.

Chopra has a whole list of body parts and how often they renew themselves.
