What are the internal states do I need to evoke, in my audience, when I am persuading them? What about getting them to remember and use a skill set(s)?

well simply put, its the states that they'd ulitimately be in when doing the skill. yet its really not that simple and hence that's the reason why there's such as Trainer's Training as well as a condensed version of that known as .......Presenting Magically.

Da Da DAAAAA....and now presenting... internal states: Wouldn't that be a great name for a book?
Here's some that sound sorta cool somehow: Would you tell me what you think of while experiencing them -
Propulsion
Motivation
laughter or humor - remember sitting in a comedyclub and laughing at the things the comedians were saying?
Fun
Confidence
Curiousity
Alert relaxation
Trusting ones unconscousness....noone minds that one,
I think....and perhaps this only my good idea....at least i've heard it put quite this way before...probably for good reason..."Empowering people to Use Skills comes from them being empowered."
At least IMHO it's so.
A question that fascinates me at this moment is," What states made it possible to learn to ride a bike or swim or use a crayon or walk or crawl or talk or know that you are deeply loved because you are a worthwhile person?"
See what happens when I come out to play after midnight? wooohooo or something like that ....
After doing it all the time for a while I think it's really about having a good time in a way that everyone in the class does too.
Hope you find this sorta entertaining,
Robert
