Huna Meditation on the Light!

Hi

I just want to know. Is Huna Meditation on the Light (eyes rolled straight up and concentrationg on the light) done with eyes opened or closed?

Eyes Closed.

If the eyes were open, it would be how to begin the process of hakalau, choosing a spot on the wall, above eye level and allowing your vision to spread out.

Yes, you close your eyes and sit in a dark place so that no light gets in.
