Hypnosis 'colleges' in the UK

Hi,

I am interested in doing a hypnosis course over the summer in the UK (preferably the north). I have been practicing hypnosis for about a year now but I have never found any willing subjects. I would like to do a course where skills can be practiced and I can have something to say I am trained in hypnosis.

Is there anywhere?

I have recently finished a 1 year Diploma Course for Theraputic Hypnosis with The Northern College of Theraputic Hypnosis.
Excellent.

Don't expect this to only cost you a few pennies, but then I found that it was worth every penny it cost me.

That looks great! However, I am looking for a course I could do over the summer. I am currently studying at University, and over the summer I would like something productive to indulge in.

Does anyone know of a shorter course?

I wonder were you live?
A short course willonly give you avery small amount of Hypnosis knowledge, what happens if your subject has an abreaction? I have yet to read a book which expalins that one.

Do you have any specific recommendations for hypnosis training organisations in the Midlands?

I live in Nottingham, in the Midlands, (and I don't drive), and am contemplating doing some sort of Hypnosis training later in the year, or early next year, but have no idea what local-ish organisations would be most suitable for such training.

Any info appreciated.

I didn't realise you could do short summer courses in Hypnotherapy..?

I thought they generally took approx 10months to a year unless you pay a huge fee for one of those fast track courses.
