I wonder if someone could answer a question for me concerning time-line therapy. It has been theorized that one way to tell that a person could be lying is to check which way the eyes shift when answering, the theory being that an eye shift to the left is memory recalled, but that eye shifts to the right imply created thoughts or lies. Well, what about an individual whose personal time line is one where their past is to their right and their future is to the left. When that person is looking to his right, isn't he just trying to access actual memories? Thanks for any info on this.

Theta,
The direction someone looks is not related to timelines at all.
Some people have timelies which go straight out in front, up, down, back and forth, etc.
eye accessing cues are different for different people as well. Each person needs to be calibrated for individually.
Additionally, depending on the person's strategy, they may look in several directions, access a memory, construct a truthful answer, check feelings about answer, compare to memory of event, access feelings about that memory, recall sounds, check feelings about sounds, compare to other sounds, check picture associated with sounds, check feelings about sounds, build new feelings, compare feelings, and so on.
Then there are those who look up-right for construct *and* recall. It doesn't make them a liar just because their strategy doesn't match the textbook.
Whoever came up with the theory is seriously lacking in understanding of eye-accessing-cues!

Theata,
I agree with all that Merlin has said.
The trick is calibration, when you ask several questions that require the person to access certain information you can then determine with a fairly high level of accuracy what their eye patterns are.

I directly get in trans with the fast right, left movement of eyes, which allows me to read the mind of the person! Probably that is the way for me to check whether the person is lieing or not.
