Why are you bothering to ask? You come to a group of total strangers, and ask if we are to be trusted, what would you expect the reply to be? NO, No, no.....
This board is open to anyone, and no test of knowledge or skill is required in order to become a member. YOU just became a member didn't you? Would you trust any group that let you join so easily? Are YOU to be trusted, damned if I know, and I have no intention of trusting you until I know you better, and maybe not then either, so it;s a two way street. I don't know you, so I don;t trust you. You have no idea if I am to be trusted either, so what are you going to do about it? When you can answer that question, you will have answered your own....
The purpose of this forum is to allow free communication without advertising. When advertisements--even inadvertent ones--appears, the moderators delete it. We want to allow for the free flow of information without the implication that these forums are nothing but ads, even though this site is completely paid for by a for-profit organization.
Unfortunately, the current software does not prevent us from being inundated with spam. We have instituted some policies which have limited it in some areas, but currently the Esoterics / Huna / Energy Work area is being constantly slammed. Again, when it appears, the moderators delete it. The moderators are unpaid and do their work for free, and can't be here all the time, so some--regrettably too much--gets through for a short time.
Currently, the owner of the forum is working on updating the software so that spamming can be stopped. If you would like to encourage the speedy upgrade, you might drop a brief and very polite Private Message (PM) to Matt at DrMattJames
